A while back when I first joined the forums here, I found a photo of a nativity set that is exactly like mine! I haven't been able to find it since.
Does anyone have a clue where I can find the pictures of nativity sets you all have posted? Or is that impossible?

I bought mine at a thrift store in Cape Coral ,Fl last year for $11.00.
On the back it is stamped "made in Italy" .Its a little faded and on the bottom, someone has written on a piece of paper tape "Christmas 1968" It too is faded .
I'd love to find out who made it and although I have no desire to sell it,I'd like to know what it is really worth.
I just love it !
What is the story behind yours?

If you go here and scroll down you can see the nativity that I bought at a flea market yesterday for $5.00.It too has "made in Italy" stamped on back.

Wow!
I can't wait to get mine out and examine it now!
Mine was passed down to me when my mom passed away.
It has a simple little "barn" with Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. Mine appear to be somewhat smaller than yours.
But the figures are the same. Just small.
And my mom got it out every Christmas. It's one of my treasures! I knew Christmas had arrived when I saw that every year!!

Are your figure's glued down? Mine are TIGHTLY glued and were when I bought it . I wish they weren't so I could see if there is a name on the botom of who made it.
I've did searchs on line and haven't come up with anything.
Do you recall where your mom bought her's

Mine are not glued down at all.
Mine are packed away in my trailer. I'm 2 hours from there.
We moved to Lafayette and I have to go this weekend (hopefully) to get all my stuff. I can't wait to look at my nativity to see the info I can find out about it! This is so much fun to me!

So glad to hear that yours aren't glued down.Maybe that will give both of us some helpful info.cheesy
A guy who is on another Christmas site I'm on told me back in August that he too has the same Nativity and that his mom bought it from a Five & Dime store in Ohio called "Kreskie's" or something like that and that she bought it when he was born in the 60's.
