today, i spent the day with my cousin (we are like sisters) and her beautiful baby daughter (my little princess!) she is a christmas nut like me and we discussed all of our plans for november and december, we were feeling festive so we stopped off at our local carvery and had a full thanksgiving/christmas dinner!
we had turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yorkshire puds, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes and loads of gravy!
we go there every boxing day (december 26th) with all the family and always have a great time, it's a tradition and i can't wait for us all to be together and celebrating this december 26th!
i think food is a major part of christmas, a major part of families sitting together and sharing and enjoying.
what food do you and your family eat over christmas? is there a specific menu you stick to over christmas eve, christmas day etc???
in my cupboards i have to have a few tubs of ben and jerry's ice cream! i also make sure i have lot's of bottles of coke in, and also lot's of finger foods (sausage rolls, chicken wings, mini samosas etc...)
