are you an early bird or a late riser?

do you stay up late or are you in bed for 9pm?

i am usually up between 7am-9am through the week, at weekends i will usually have a lie in, sometimes i won't get up until midday!

as for bed time, i usually don't got to bed until midnight, maybe once or twice a week i will go about 10.30pm and i feel so much better for it the next day.

in the run up to christmas (december) i am up everyday at about 7am, i never want to miss a minute of it!

I prefer to wake up late because i don't want to get up once I finally start to get some sleep.

I usually go to bed around midnight, unless I drink too much coffee in the evenings (as I did last night!)

We usually get up anywhere from 5:50 to 7:00
I love my mornings on my back porch!!

If I drink to much tea it keeps me awake,so I got me some decaf.

Oh you must have a beautiful view. Live in the country.

Monday thru Friday I get up at 6:30 am and go to bed no later than 11:30pm. I have to get at least 7 hours of sleep per night. I can stay healthy and not catch so much as a cold for a year as long as I'm getting sleep. Saturday & Sunday...it depends on my mood.

Yes we are in the country, on the border of two states, the front of my house is about 150 feet from the WV highway and the back of the house faces KY, with a river separating us from Kentucky. I love sitting on my back porch!!

All really depends... On average I usually go to bed late and up early. I rarely ever sleep in...although I do think about how nice it would be to do so. But I always have something going on....being a mom, taking care of my own house, work, school functions, volunteering any spare time at the local thrift store...yadda yadda yadda....*L

During the summer months I love to get up early and I usually do for I love the simple pleasure of going outside and drinking my coffee while sitting on my swing.
Winter months is different, sometimes I sleep in late so then the cold wintry day doesn't seem so long.

I tend to stay up far later than is good for me. During the week, I usually end up going to bed around 11:00 pm and I get up for work around 6:00 am. That's just not enough sleep for a sleep junkie like me so on the weekends I usually end up sleeping in until 11:00 am to make up for it. I really need to start going to bed earlier...speaking of which, it's 11:25 pm and I should be heading to bed.

Let's see, seeing as I am answering this at Midnight, if I can't sleep whenever I get tired I go to bed, but I will be awake at 6 am or before. Usually I go to bed at 9 pm.

I need regular hours, lights out by 11:00 PM and up at 06:30 AM. Weekends I allow myself one hour extra but often get up at 07:00. On weekends I do enjoy laying on the couch and reading a magazine or a good book for a couple of hours.

During the work week I am up between 5:30 - 6 am and go to bed between 10 - 11 pm. On the weekends I get up around 6:30 - 7 am not by choice but that is when the kids usually wake up. Sometimes hubby will get up early on one of weekend mornings so I can sleep in til 8 - 8:30 am.

Through the week I go to bed around midnight (later if I am working on a project…scrapbooking or an afghan, etc.) & I get up around 6:30 – 6:45 am. Weekends, I have no sleep schedule except I go to bed when I’m tired & get up when I wake up! Lol! I’m normally up by 7:30 – 8:00 am on the weekends though...sometimes earlier...sometimes later!

Thanks. He's always been good about taking turns with the kids in terms of getting up with them, giving bathes and feedings when they were littler and reading bedtime stories.

I get up at 6, and not because I want to! I have to take my brothers to school. I get up that early so I know I'll wake up before 8!(when they have to be there)

Go to bed around 10.

Weekends, that's a whole new ball game. I get up around 9, go to bed at 11 or 12.

I'm up by 7 every morning, and in bed between 11 and midnight. On a very rare occassion we'll have a morning where nothing at all is planned and then we'll sleep til 8 or 9, any longer then that we all have headaches lol.

Weekends I'm up by 6:30 or 7 and in bed around 10 (I get more of my household chores accomplished and can get to bed earlier).

It varies so much. I work all night but I'm also a night person. So on my days off, I usually don't go to bed until 2 or 3 in the morning. Sometimes as late as 5. My sleeping stays all messed up and I sometimes use one of my days off to get caught up on it.

:tree:During the week DH and I get up at 6am. On the weekends we sleep in a little longer, but very rarely past 8am. During the week I very rarely stay up past 10pm, but sometimes dh will watch some of the 10pm news. On the weekends we're not up late either. WE're so accustomed to going to bed early that we like to do so on weekends too.

Hmmm, night owl, morning person, it's all so blurry to me. I work midnight shift. So, I'm not sure anymore what I am! I have to be at work by midnight Sunday night (Monday) and I finish work on Fri. morning. My bedtime depends on how much sleep I got the day before. I try to stay up until at least 2pm and then go to sleep. I usually get up around 10:45pm so that I can go to work. Sometimes I can't sleep though and I'm up until 6pm. On Fri. since it's my last day of work, I try to stay up for as long as I can so that I can have a somewhat normal weekend and Fri. is considered to be my day off so I try to make it count. I usually end up in bed by 8pm on Fri. and I'm up around 3-4 am on Sat. I'll try to stay up a little later on Sat. and get up early on Sun. because I need to be tired enough to fall asleep by atleast 5pm so that I can get up and start the work week all over again. I know, it's confusing. Imagine how my body clock feels!

Really varies. Sometimes I go to bed at 9.30-10pm, or 1-2am in the morning. Sometimes I get up at 7-9am or as late as 12pm!! So depends.

What I want to do and what I do are very different. I like staying up late which means I'd sleep in. But, I try to get to bed each week night at 10:00-10:30. The alarm goes off at 6:00 in the morning. Some days that's very difficult! Some days....

oh boy....yeah...shifts really mess up the body clock...You always work the same shift? In Germany people work three weeks of shift....first week early, second daytime, third nightshift....then there´s a week free usually...or something like that

Yep, always the same shift. My husband used to work the kind of shift you're talking about at his old job but, not now. We call that a swing shift. He liked that a lot better than one steady shift.

My 1 1/2 year old son HATES sleeping. I guess he feels like he is going to miss something? Every night is a struggle to get him to bed. A lot of times I fall asleep trying to get him to sleep. He wakes up between 1-2 times a night after I get him to sleep so I have to get him back to sleep. My husband has to be to work at 6:30 am. I have to get up around 5:00 - 5:15 in order for him to be able to get ready for work and leave on time. Im usually in bed between 9-10 during the week. On the weekends its usually 10:30 - 11 and on a rare occurence my son will let us sleep in until 8..normally its around 7 though. I know it wont last forever but after a 1 1/2 year of not sleeping through the night Im still not use to it!

They are actually in negotiations right now to try and get 10 hour work days with rotating days off. He's really hoping for that because it's more fair. That way everybody has to work some weekends but, you'll also get some weekends off which is nice. Also, you'll be saving gas by only driving 4 days a week! We're hoping for that one but, not holding our breath. His union isn't very good to them with stuff like that. Who knows what will happen.

I am up by 6:30 in the morning to get the kids ready for school. Unless my husband is home then I get up with him at 5:30. Weekends usually 7:30.

Right now with my husband gone, I wait up till 11pm to see if he can get online and talk on yahoo IM. If he doesn't then I go to bed. If he does, then I finally crawl to bed around 11:40pm. When he is home, it could be anytime between 9-11pm.

I usually go to bed around 10:30-11. And I wake up anywhere from 6:30 to 8am. Usually the latter only happens if I don't hear my alarm clock or if the baby kept me up all night; and if that's the case, my 2.5 year old is the one to come in and get me and tell me it's time for cereal, lol!
On Christmas Day I'm like a little kid again. I actually woke up my oldest daughter last year around 7am (she was just about 2 at that time) lol!! She was sooo excited to see all the presents under the tree!

During the work week I'm up at 4:30 a.m. and I go to bed around 10:30 p.m.

On Christmas morning I still wake up early, but I roll over and snuggle under the covers for as long as I can savor that once-a-year moment of waking up and going downstairs on Christmas morning. That evening, I'm usually up with family until the wee hours playing board games and chatting.
