The following was in a local newspaper.
Thinking Christmas in August
OLYMPIA, Wash.: You may be sweating bullets, but some people are already thinking Christmas. The official Christmas tree for the U.S. Capitol has been chosen.
It's from the Olympic National Forest in Washington state. Officials are keeping the tree's exact location secret until the giant evergreen is harvested in early November.
School kids from the state of Washington will also create more than 3,000 handmade ornaments to decorate the tree. :)

The White House has to pick out their tree early to allow time for Homeland Security to do the appropriate background checks. They can't just pick one up at Big Al Kyda's Christmas Tree Farm.

You got that right, sister! I am sitting here at work listening to the Carpenters sing Christ is Born. In my opinion, Karen Carpenter has one of the purest voices of all time.

P.S. Karen Carpenter is a great alto. I always liked her voice as well. I think I'll listen to some right now myself.

Hey Casseydbell,
Which Christmas Station do you like to listen to on Live365? I usually listen to Christmas Broadband because they play the classic stuff. I'm old fashioned when it comes to Christmas. I also subscribed to Music Match and Real Rhapsody so I can pretty much pick and choose what I want to listen too. I can listen at work too. :)

I was listening to John Denver sing Aspenglow (Is that right?) and had to stop working. That is one awesome song. After that I picked up on some Bing and a touch of the 3 Stooges. I'm still a man, you know!

I'm probably the last of my generation that knows what an LP is. Besides what rappers use to scratch with lol.
