We didn't get to watch as many Christmas DVDs as hoped.
We went to WalMart and grocery shopped and got snacks.
Had Subway sandwiches for lunch. I can't remember if we watched "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown" on Friday night or Saturday night.
Then, I stayed up waaaaay tooooo late working on an ebook.
We went to church yesterday morning. Nathan ended up going to the church nursery. Then, the nursery worker had to come get me because he was screaming his head off!! I went in and rocked him in the rocking chair and he calmed down. Then, he got up and played with the toys.
I sat with him the rest of the service. He's my baby ya know! He wanted his mommy!! That's my job and I love my job!!
I love being a wife and mommy.
Then, we came home and ate lunch, took naps, and then went back to church for a meeting. We planned out our "Hallelujah Night". Then, we came home, ate supper, and watched "The Duggar Marathon" on TLC. Before I knew it, it was 1 in the morning!! We went to bed then!!
How was your weekend? What all did you do? Anything special?

I went in to Brugge (Belgium) on Saturday afternoon. It is a medieval town close by my home town. It is always a pleasure to stroll through the old streets and look at the architecture. I went on a shopping trip though for warm winter stuff. Nothing exciting, just socks and warm undies and things (giggle). A few stores had some Christmas decorations for sale, that made the trip even more exciting. Brugge at Christmas is magical !

Sunday morning I made pumpkin soup as my Halloween pumpkins are starting to lose their freshness. I took a bowl to my parents and visited them in the afternoon. They live a two hour train ride from here.

This morning I gave some soup to two of my neighbors who were both very pleased with their little treat ! It was a bit funny because I had to get ready for work, was talking on the phone with my boss while I saw one neighbor passing by through the window. So I motion her in, whisper I've got some soup for her while still talking to my boss. Got my soup, thrust it into her arms and sent her on her way !! I could see she was happy though ! The other neighbor I went knocking on the door saying I've got some soup for you but can't stay. Have to go to work and off I went ! Left just enough time to catch his big smile !

I went into town with my husband and daughter and now wished I had stayed at home!! lol My daughter wasnt very happy about looking in the shops so she spent all the time being naughty and sitting on the floor refusing to get up! It was a stressful weekend I tell you.
But I did make ginger cookies and a sponge cake with her Sunday and that was cool.

Went Christmas shopping yesterday!!!! LOL!
Hubby and I went shopping for the kids. We are almost done shopping for them. Still need to get stocking stuffers for both, a couple board games for our daughter and she still needs to pick out a gift for her brother. Now need to start shopping for hubby and everyone else in the family.

Well, I brought my mom home from the hospital on Sat. (she's fine, she had low potassium and was dehydrated basically), then we went to Dairy Queen because she was starved! I picked up her perscriptions, bought her some food at the store and then got her home and settled in. Then my brother and his girlfriend came over for a while. On, Sunday I made dinner for my mom and took it up to her as well as some stuffed shells so that she'd have something to eat for the next couple of days. My dog was also sick all weekend so I had to give her two baths and scrub the carpet twice! Fun, fun, fun!!!

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch with my nephews. They have a "kiddie" land and the kids had a lot of fun playing and picking out their pumpkins. The only downside was that it was too muddy for the hay rack ride. :(

Sunday we went shopping for supplies for my sister's baby shower next weekend. I was a little edgy about how much money we spent but it will be worth it.

Friday evening I prepared for DD4 birthday party. Saturday finished castle birthday cake. Saturday afternoon hosted DD party. The kids all seemed to have a good time. The bobbing for apples was a huge hit. Sunday was regular clean the house, laundry and then off to DS 8 intro to hockey/skating program.

I've had a wonderful weekend staying with my niece in London.

Pleased to say I survived 2 hours in the Disney Store with my daughter, without spending an absolute fortune! (did buy a couple of Christmas decs though) After lunch we wandered round the museum of London, before heading off for a fitting for my daughters bridesmaid dress.
That evening a group of us went to a Japanese restaurant and had a lovely meal.

Sunday my daughter, niece & neices fiance went to a Sci-Fi/Anime exhibition.
Now, it's not really my sort of thing, but I was impressed by the costumes people had made.

All in all a lovely weekend with people I love :D

:tree:My weekend was both good and bad, if that makes any sense. Saturday was spent at home giving the familyroom a thorough cleaning. Sunday I had to fast all day, nothing but a liqiuid diet for me bwecause i had my first colonoscopy Monday morning. I'm, so glad thats over with, now I feel like my life to back to normal.

This post made me realize that today is the last day of the haunted house in town and I haven't gone yet!!!
Last weekend I worked on Saturday. It was my weekend w/o the grand kids, but I really didn't do too much.
Grocery shopped and that's about it!!!
This weekend I'll go trick-or-treating with ds, his wife and kids and then I'll bring the grand kids home with me.
I haven't decided yet what we'll do for crafts yet, but we'll think of something.
