The most stupid thing ever happened to me today....I was walking out of our frontdoor...when I suddenly felt a terrible sting and burn on the left side of my head....immediately I heard it summing.......A bee or hornet or vesp attacked me....right in my head....I never had anything like that....I went to the doctor, after my head starting pounding and all....but he said itīs alright and not worriying....he said I should cool it and keep an eye on it (how should I do that btw....itīs almost the back of my head...lol)....anyways....itīs a terrible pain....kind off....not like I canīt take it....but itīs not nice....it feels like someone is pushing my head with a little needle all day long and put some acid in it......TUUUUUUUUUUURRIBLE I tell Ya......

anybody had that happen to them too? I tell Ya....that thing really attacked me.

Awww sorry to hear that you have been stung by a bee. Bee stings are nasty and bees are nasty.
I never got stung in the head but we had a friend who got stung on the lip and it swelled and was very painful.

Be sure and check for a nest around your front door area. Look everywhere for they will make their nest in the silliest places and where you least expect them.

Trackrebel have you checked to see if their is a nest nearby? A month ago we noticed a huge hornets' nest on the end eave of our house. They didn't bother us because we were not in their flight path, but they can be very agressive if bothered or if something is in their path of flight. We finally had to call someone out here to get rid of it. I would have left it alone if it was farther in the woods, but it was just to close. I was stung once and my husband a few times.

there is one...right above our entrance door...need something to spray inside and the close the hole they come out....I´m just glad it stund me and not my babygirl.

@Jana.....I was scared when it happend, since my father is very allergic on all those stripes things (with that I mean bees, vesps, hornets)....and then it´s right in the head....I almost panicked...but then I told myself to keep quiet and take a look at it....
Tomorrow I will go to a diy store to get something against them.....they are gonna pay for that....

Aww, I'm sorry TR. :(

I got stung in the finger once as well. Actually it was in my hair and when I swiped my hair it stung my finger .

Then I got stung under my eye one time .

Thank the Lord I'm not allergic to bee's ,but I'm very afraid of them.

When I was in the 5th grade my teacher ,who was allergic to bee's ,always carried a can of bug spray with her during bee season.

I hope it works out for you! The nest we had was so huge! We tried to do it ourselves several times and the swarm was unbelievable!! That's why we finally had to get someone else to spray for it.

Tanja ,maybe you could put an ice pack on the back of your head . Like maybe lay on your stomach and have your hubby place the ice pack on the back of your head for you.

trackrebel

it´s more on the side of my head....kind off....I have some icepacks....and I will put it on my head again when I got sleep. thanx for Your concern....it really burns.......and I´m always so good to bees....even when they are inside....I send Kandice in the other room...and then I get them out of the window really gentle...because I don´t want to kill them....since they are creatures as well......but now I´m really scared

I got stung once while driving. The bee flew in my window and I tried to smack it/get it to fly away and instead it stung me in the face! OUCH!!
Hope you're feeling better!

Tanja,I'm the same way,I don't kill them ,as they say that bee's especially honey bee's are mysteriously disappearing and that's not good as we depend on them for MANY thing's.

It's more likely to be a wasp. Bees tend to keep themselves to themselves; they just go about their business and will only sting if they feel threatened or in danger as they will die after they sting you

Wasps are just downright nasty and will sting for the h*ll of it. They are also slowing down and getting sluggish due to the weather getting colder so don't move as quickly.

Hope you're feeling better soon

Yikes!! I've been stung before, several times. Luckily, although I do have a reaction, I'm not horribly allergic.

Here's a funny...

I was a high school freshman and we were playing softball in phys. ed. The coach was a student teacher from a local university and all the girls were just dead gone for this guy...he was movie star handsome and nice to boot.

Well, me not being athletically inclined, I took myself out into the outfield, hoping that no one would hit the ball that far out. I was standing out there, minding my own business, not doing too much of anything when, out of nowhere, a bee/wasp thing stung my backside! :-?

I tried to ignore it at first but eventually the pain got to me and I was forced to march up to that cute student teacher in front of the whole class and tell him that I'd gotten stung in the butt by a bee!

Been stung plenty of times from Bees Wasps and bitten by Hornets.

Try this one on though.

Parents leave me at a sitter (they were in their 60s and i was 10)
Go outside and swing on the old swing set they say....k....no swings...just the frame....
Well its something to do...
So i do....in seconds- from both ends of the hollow pole from the top...bees.

I had 13 stings on face - in nose - in ears....

Face was all puffy and MAN DID IT HURT. The lady pulled the stingers - put on some of the orange stuff we used to use in the 70s and 80s and told me to sit in front of a box fan.

GOOD THING I WAS NOT ALLERGIC!!!!!

Would think these bees and things have gone into hibernation by now !

Found a lady bug on my window sill in the kitchen yesterday. Can't put it outside since it's too cold now so I just left it there and it seems to enjoy it's surroundings. Now I have a pet too ! It was there to greet me this morning. So sweet !

I love them, too.....We have an invasion tho...hahaha...all of them are trying to get into the house......last week I was leaving the house with kandice....when I closed the door....I saw about 50ladybugs sitting on the front door.....including some that are not from here....they look like Ladybugs...but they have a black body and red dots....people say they are immigrants from Asia...:D

I had a wasp come in from the kitchen window a few days ago and even though I am not afraid of them I got my broom and hit it back out the window. Well little did I know it would fly around and try to get in my back door, so I quickly slammed the door and the living room window in the nick of time. It goes to show how intelligent these things are.

Hopefully you're feeling better now? I've been stung twice, once right in the knuckle (and I can't even blame the bee, I was doing a cartwheel, came up and whacked my hand right into it!), and once in the shoulder. Neither was fun, but I can't imagine in the head.

I hate bees, wasps, honets, anything that files with a stinger!

As a kid I always got stung by them! Usually in the ankle. One time I was stung by a hornet in the ankle and it swelled up. That one hurt the worst.

Hope you feel better, and make those bees pay!

Oh, this one's embarrassing, I was once stung in the butt....
