Nintendo did a big thing with the Wii.....somehow even tho they brought out the game cube....I thought Nintendo was going away really soon (and I was sad about it...since I´m a game boy/super nintendo kid).....and suddenly that Wii Gaming system comes out almost blows everything away..........just wait and see....they will develped some kind of shoes and gloves so You are able to basketball, football and soccer as if it´s a real game.

Waited months to get the one i got for my wife and daughter this year for Christmas --- they still think they are not getting one.
Costco, BJs, Sams, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City here - HAVE ALL been sold out for past 2 months.
I kept checking on line and finally got one at Circuit City (on line store) one day - Next day- theirs was gone on line again.

GOOD LUCK FOLKS!!!

For some reason, Wii's are readily available around here right now. I've been in 3 different Wal-marts in the past week or so (2 of them multiple times). All had a decent stock of them. Even the local GameStop's have large signs outside saying "Wii's in stock". My oldest boy (11) is a gamer and he's wanted a Wii off & on since they came out. I think he's realized that it would be fun for awhile, but there's not enough software to keep his interest for very long. So, he's luke warm on it. I'm torn on getting one while they're readily available here. That's a decent chunk of money if he decides he really doesn't want one for Christmas (which he has eventually done the past couple of years).
So... I don't know... Maybe the market is beginning to become saturated since these didn't fly off the shelf right away...

I wanted to share the way I found a Wii with you guys so you can hopefully find one.

I used this site called WiiTracker. Just google it. It is updated every few minutes and it tells you what online vendors have Wiis available.

My offer still stands to help any of you looking for Wiis find one. I don't mean that you'd buy it from me, just that I would be happy to let you know if I find one online that's available so you can stick one under your Christmas tree if you/ your kids want it.

Lemme know if you need help.

We finally got our hands on one several months ago but we had to call Wal-Mart and find out when they were going to put them out...then we had to get up at the crack of dawn and get there an hour before they were supposed to 'release' their stock. We got a number and waited until 7:00 am when they could actually sell them.

The sad thing is that, with that system, every Wii system was spoken for by 6:00 am.

Hey guys, I got an email from Best Buy about a private sale that's happening this Friday.

I think you need to be on their email list but it said there would be a minimum of 30 Wiis at each store that's having this sale. If you are on the list, or know someone who is and want a Wii, that might be the time to get it.

I was in Best Buy about 20 minutes ago and they had a whole pallet full of Wii's... must have been over 50 of them.

I can't believe that it's been out for 2 years and they still can't produce enough. Makes me think they are doing it on purpose to build Hype and Hysteria

I LOVE the Wii! I bought one for my boyfriend in july 07. I went to best buy and had to get it from customer service. Some people in front of me bought one, and when I got mine they only had 1 left! I got lucky.
