Well, I bought some Christmas cards at Walmart last night.
I stood there reading them and I noticed some are made in the USA, others made in of course China.
I'm holding two designs that I liked and thought this is not a hard decision, I put the made in China back on the shelve and I hope many of those boxes stay on the shelves. And I bought the made in the USA cards.
I know sometimes it is impossible to find made in the USA and we have no choice, but here I had a choice and buying USA made was the easy and best choice.
I also picked up some pc Christmas paper to do my Christmas letter that will be put in with some of my cards, I checked the back, "made in China", ummm well, I put it back on the shelve an thought I will just do some graphics in my print shop and design my own letter.
I know it seems small but maybe if we the public would do this, the message might get across and it just might help our economy that has gone bad since we started buying things made in China. Also, in view of the past 2 years, things made in China and sent here are not usually safe. Will we learn from this? I think the public would like to buy made in the USA compared to made in China but we are just not given the opportunity to do so.
