First date ideas?

So... I'm going to be going on my very first date the Saturday after next... I'm so excited! The boy I've liked for the past year told me he had feelings for me too... so I told my parents, and they said they wanted to meet him (especially my mom because I've gushed to her about him for the longest time). So my parents are going to have him over for dinner, then my parents are taking us somewhere and we get to chose where (as long as it's age-appropriate considering I'm 13 and he's 14). My parents are going to be watching us so it would be a bonus if it's fun for them too. I was thinking about ice-skating downtown because it's very pretty and decorated and they have hot chocolate and stuff... but I'm not sure... what was your guys' first date?

Oh, how nice!! I love the ice skating idea. We used to go rollerskating back when I was your age, so this is pretty close.

My first "date" was at the zoo around Christmas time looking at the Christmas lights. I ended up with that girl for 7 months, and I'm 16. Ice Skating sounds like a great idea.

yeah...ice skating sounds fun to me....plus...Your parents are around....but won´t be sitting on Your neck...:D....plus....You are not required to speak the whole time....can have fun skating...hanging out with him....skating to music...singing along....eating and drinking....so...I think You have the perfect plan

Honestly, football games tell you a lot about a person.

Trust me, I've been going to Florida State games for 22 years with various friends and dates. You can really find out who a keeper is.

Simply stated, I've found a keeper, cause she puts up with me acting like a fool and a 1st grader (only at football games, are true colors revealed cheesy)

I am in the same boat with him. A Football game is really a good choice and shows you a lot about a person.....

Plus it makes him stay a gentlemen as well!!!

If not then ice skating - or even bowling (yes i said bowling) is still a lot of fun!!

I love the ice skating idea. It's fun and will give you something 'to do' and focus on so if you're too nervous to think of something to talk about, it won't much matter because you'll be busy skating. :)

:cry:How exciting for you. First dates are so much fun. i love your idea of going iceskating. My husband's and my first date was out for icecream in his '69 Nova he had restored. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'l have fun. ENJOY!!
