I have finshed buying for co-workers, my grandchildren and my Mom. Still need to buy for DS's & DDL's & DH. And I buy for my Mom to give too so I feel good. Of course I would feel better if I had them wrapped. Thanksgiving break I plan on wrapping & decorating!

I'm almost done, but I'm scaling way back this year. Finally in my husband's family we agreed to just do the little kids & my husband's parents, so that takes about 6 off my list there. I also decided not to do my son's dad's family (he's 19 now, he can do it himself), or my step son's mom's family either, I was spending a fortune on my husband's ex-wife's family, we just can't do it this year.

My older kids mostly want money/gift/gas cards, I have my daughter pretty well done, just have my husband, my father-in-law, my parents, and the stocking stuffers left.

I am too scaling back this year. My husband has decided not to buy his side of the family because his brothers/sisters are all grown up. I did buy my mother/aunt and sister something from boots yesterday. It was three for two on gift sets, so it worked out £10 a present, which isnt too bad. I think im going to do a little a week up until xmas, its easier on the purse, lol. So far I have 6 people to buy for and my hubby, but he'd probably say he doesnt want anything, like myself. Its for the kids really. As long as my daughter is happy I dont care if I had coal in my stocking!!!!

Just about done. We do cards and order small food baskets for the few adults left in our family, send $ to our niece, and participate in an adopt a child program. We adopted two little girls for Christmas and it's been really fun shopping for them. I went a wee overboard on that this year. My husband and I won't exchange gifts this year other than share a box of Godiva truffles, and I'll probably buy a new toy and ball for our golden retriever.

I think I'm just about finished now. I just need to pick up my parents' gifts. We are having satellite TV installed for them. I know how you feel. This happened to me last year! I got married on the 1st of Dec. and my husband had surgery on the 19th. I was so busy planning the wedding and then preparing for his surgery that I did most of my shopping on Christmas Eve! I've never shopped that late before and I vowed that I never would again! This post is so timely. I was sitting here this morning cup of coffee in hand feeling alittle blue. I can't believe it is 1 month until the big day and I am so far behind. I am almost done my cards for the card exchange. I will be sending half out this week. I am done my brothers children. They come in for Turkey Day so we exchange then. I did finish my 3 Angel Tree children and 2 Operation Shoe Box because they are needed early. I ve barely purchased anything for my DS. I have concert tickets and an ornament thus far. I did buy part of my sisters gift yesterday but that is it! I have alot to buy and feeling alittle sad because money is tight (as it is for everyone!). Where did my Christmas spirit go? Well, I don't have many people to buy for so I'm not worried. Buying for my parents, one friend (between my group of friends we all decided we would buy for one person so we paired up to do that, basically with our best friends) and Secret Santa between some animaly friends.

I've bought everything for my friend and the majority of the stuff for my Secret Santa partner - just a few more things for them and then I need stuff for my parents.

I had to laugh this morning. I went in the cupboard under the stairs and thought to my self, wheres my daughters present gone? It was unwrapped in a carrier bag. I phoned my huby in work and asked him if he had moved it...he said''no, I wrapped it' !!!! I was gobsmacked, lol

I've bought a few things for the boyfriend and one thing for my mom. We're going very light this year though, so I am not buying a whole ton of presents for anyone. I will be baking for a TON of people though. hah hah.

I have a few more stocking stuffers and a couple baskets to get and a couple gift cards to buy. I still have a ton of wrapping and baking to do. We have scalled back on gifts a bit this year but like others I am increasing my baking and am handing out baskets of baked goodies.
