with the big man himself. last weekend they had a Christmas parade downtown in my city. we got there early and we were standing around looking at the floats off on our own just my wife, brother, the girls and I when who comes walking over Santa Claus himself. My two and a half year olds mouth dropped open and she took a step back towards me. Santa knelt beside her and said You don't have to be afraid of me little one...come see me and she did! Last year she loved him but was scared and cried when we went to see him. this time she walked over gave him a hug and let him pick her up. Santa then spent a couple minutes holding her and talking to her before saying bye. My daughter was super excited and told everyone she saw later how she talked to santa. It was truly a special moment, I wish we would have had a camera at the time. I had my cellphone but didnt even think of it, it was one of those moments you try to just take in and burn into your memory to cherish forever.
