What Are You Enjoying Now That 'Tis The Season?

What are you enjoying now that we are in the Christmas Season? How is it different from the rest of the year for you? (Since we love Christmas all year round -- what makes this time of year different for you?)

I really, really love driving around to look at Christmas lights. I love it that not everybody puts their lights up at one time -- so that it is different from night to night. It is kind of like welcoming the new decorations the first time you see them. And kind of like saying hello to an old friend when you drive by familiar decorations.

I love it when people who do not think about Christmas year-round say something good about Christmas coming. Or about something they really enjoy about Christmas. It is like being around someone who was deaf and now can hear. "Yes, you are enjoying this now! Wonderful."

I like seeing a beautiful Christmas card or a beautiful Christmas decoration. And appreciating the spirit the artist put into their work.

Same here. I love going around looking at all the lights and decorations.

I love putting in a Christmas movie and wrapping presents.

I am loving everything about the season, i must admit. Now, I am starting on the present wrapping, which I absolutely LOVE :D I will be doing a test run on my Choc Chip Christmas Cookies before long too. My husband and I are going christmas shopping on the 20th too, to pick up the last few bits and bobs :)

My family and I are making every effort to soak up every moment of the season. We know it will go by in a flash.

I've really been enjoying just being in my beautifully decorated home, lighting my Yankee Christmas candles and taking it all in! I also love wrapping presents and making my friends and family their annual ornaments, sending and receiving Christmas cards, watching all the Christmas programming on TV and taking baths with Christmas tunes in the background. :)

watching my Christmas cards expand accross the wall as I get them in the mail. Decorating the house and then just enjoying it all. I love baking all those special treats that are only for Christmas...the baked cheese cake that uses 5 pkgs of cream cheese, the shortbread cookies made with real butter, the homemade egg nog, etc, etc, etc.

I love the feeling you get this time of year.The Lights,Shopping,Cooking,Wrapping,dancing to the music,My sisters,mum daughter and niece having our annualgirls night filled with painting our fingers and toes in red & green!

I love the lights and the Christmas music playing everywhere (even in the hotel where we stayed this last weekend). I know the season will be gone in a flash so I try to enjoy every bit of it. :)

I love all the baking that we do at this time, taking time each night as a family and watching a holiday movie, looking at all my decorations in the house, hearing from friends and family I've not seen in ages, all the wonderful smells, singing in church and looking out at the glowing faces.:tree:

Here's some irony. Although I post the "This Week on Christmas TV" lists in this forum, I have yet to watch any of the programs myself! Too busy studying. Next week begins Christmas vacation for me; my well-stuffed TiVo DVR and I will be inseparable.

I'm enjoying the music and all the good spirit that Christmas can give you! I also love the bright colors of Christmas, it's the only time of year that I can have a bunch of decorations laying around at one time:)

:snowball:I love everything about the Christmas season. WE've been watching christmas movie. My housr is all decorated inside and out for the holiday. I sent out my christmas cards this weekend, and i've started wrapping gifts. I love listening to christmas music, either on the radio or the many cd's that i have.

I'm enjoying re-connecting with friends I haven't seen in awhile and my wife and I are digging the Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel every night at 9PM EST. cheesy

I am enjoying it all! The music, the movies, shopping, parties, baking, making snacks, burning Christmas scented candles, getting Christmas cards in the mail, turning off all the lights in the house except for the tree lights, driving around looking at peoples lights & decorations...all of it! I love how everybody just seems to be in a more of a festive, or outgoing mood. Just about everyone seems happy, or maybe it's excited?!?! I'm loving getting together with friends more often & friends stopping in just to say "hi". Emails from friends seem to have picked up & there is just excitement in the air. I LOVE IT!:-D It's going toooo fast!!!
