One of the post Christmas chores we had to do was take all the wrapping paper and boxes out to the burn barrel, after checking for small gifts and those To/From labels, so thank you cards could be sent. This was the best day of the year for "One Match Faulkner" to burn papers because it was really easy to get them started and the flames were gigundous. I'd be singing at the top of my lungs, "I'm Mister Heat Miser..."

She'll be digging out her summer clothes and find a couple Christmas gifts she had forgotten. She won't recall what they are though. We could get them on Memorial Day or whenever.

Like that $20 bill you find in last winter's jacket pocket. Whoohoo, baby, we're eating out tonight!

My Mom is famous for finding a Christmas present in the middle of Summer. She's also good at buying a present early, wrapping and forgetting about it and buying that SAME PRESENT later in the year and wrapping it again.

Would be fun to find a hidden gift in July...as long as it wasn't something edible that had spoiled :o
