Kandice has a pinkeye

The medical name for it seems to be bacterial conjunctivitis

Whitish....yellow stuff comes out of her eye....and I know....tomorrow she will not be able to open easily...I know when treated...as we do...it´s nothing serious...but I feel so sorry...the eye under the eyeball is swollen...and it´s tearing...and that stuff is coming out....I got something from the doctor...it´s cooked sal****er....I wash it out with that....and then put some cream on it...he says it will be gone within the next three days.....I just feel so sorry for her...and hope my fiance and I...and even our cat won´t get it as well...since it´s highly infective....

Did Your kids have it, too...I know my big bro and I did....

Poor thing! I remember having it as a kid, not fun. But luckily, none of my 4 have ever gotten it. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery so she's well in time for Christmas!

Poor Kandice :( I had it when I was younger as well. I always hated when my mom had to do the drops in my eyes. In 4th grade I got it 2 times in a row ... not fun at all!

thanks Y´all....the hardest part is....to put it in her eyes....she fights against....I had to wake up my fiance in the morning to help putting it in her eye.....I tell Ya....that girl is strong

I remember getting this when I was younger. I woke up one morning and my eye didn't open! What a pain it is, I hope Kandice is doing better soon. It's gotta be tough since she's so little, when I had it I think I was in 4th grade.

Yes, I went through the pink eye with my kids. It spreads like crazy. They got it from a little boy I was babysitting at the time.

I sincerely hope that it's all cleared up for her to enjoy her special Christmas Day.

it´s better already....it´s not swollen no more...and the white/yellowish stuff is gone...now it´s only red and a bit teary....she looks as if she had a fight....

I´m washing my hands so often...they are starting to become dry

Im sorry to hear that! Pauvre Bebe! (Poor Baby) I used to get it alot.my kids do once in awhile,im not sure if anyone has said this,but,when she waskes up get a wash cloth wet it with warm water and clean her eye(s). if both eyes are infected rinse first before using it again..this helps open up the eye more gently..
Give her a hug and I hope she gets better very soon! :)

I think I´m suffering more than her...haha....she doesn´t really care...she´s more bothered with me watching she áin´t wiping her eyes ....and if she does so...washes her hands....she´s only miserable when we have to put that cream in her eye...:(

aww! i hope she's feeling ok. i remember suffering really badly with it as a kid, my mum used to bath my eyes with some cotton wool and warm milk!

the one eye has gotten better....now she has it on the other one as well...but I was expecting it...I just ain´t there all the time when she wipes her eyes....it´s so infective...it´s crazy

Oh she does...I think it´s gone...but the doctor´s told us to give her the meds about two or three days longer...so it doesn´t come back!

She infected my mom with it...I wonder how tho...cos she hasn´t touched her nowhere....and it must have happened within a few hours
