I'd vote for the interview. When I leave the dentist's office I drool uncontrollably and know that I have made his house payment. At least when I leave a job interview I don't drool as much and know that there is a slight chance that I may be able to make my own house payment.

I have been on the other side of the job interview process...I was the interviewer. I have been looking for someone to replace me since the end of June. Do people just NOT want jobs? I would call them and set up an interview and they either just didnt show up (and didnt call to cancel) or after I told them about the job they said they werent interested. I FINALLY hired someone this week and she starts Monday. New hire orientation starts Monday so if she makes it thru those first 2.5 days maybe that will be a good sign she will stick around.
