What's with you guys? Does the phrase "when the cat's away the mice will play" mean anything to you? I expected in my absence things would be hopping here. Guess you're all as busy as I am.

I am catching a break in the action here in Denver. Thought I'd say hi!

I'm here, but I'm working in the kitchen and running over to check once in a while.

(By the way dvdguy- I'm going to make cookies to get rid of the flour, sugar and eggs so be prepared to be innundated with cookies )

Cookies sound great. Back to Jeff's original statement for a minute though, Its almost september, I think weve hit a little bit of a lull, weve even had less people in sunday night chat, hopefully forums and chat will pick up soon. :-D

Two types of cookies so for...

I made one of the recipes up as I went along. I like to call them Cleaning Out the Pantry Cookies - peanut butter oatmeal cookies

And of course my favorite...short bread tidbits. YUM

I only ate one to test them. They are all here....and I DOUBLED the recipe for the short bread cookies.
