Anyone interested in doing the Rudolph Book and Movie Club this year.??

You simply watch the movie and read the book before the 25th of the month and then on the 25th we start a discussion thread for that month's picks.

Super...since the list is up for the whole year...we can plan ahead...lol....famous last words. You can do either of the movies regular or kids alternate....and/or the book...then get ready to post comments etc on the 25th of each month!!!

Perhaps we will get some more interested participants as the year progresses....:snowball:

Does this replace the book discussions from before or is this in addition ? It seems easier this way by getting the list for the whole year in advance. It was a bit hard getting people signed up and get their books ordered too.

I was thinking it could provide us with a framework and may be easier for most of us since we know well in advance. The titles were picked by members at MHH.

BUT anyone that wants to propose or start a book group on any book can still do so...
So if someone discovers a fantastic book and wants a group on it...they can just start a thread and get others interested and form a group to read it.

Alternate kid pick: Frosty The Snowman
Book: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore

February 09
Movie: The Family Man
Alternate kid pick: Muppets Christmas Carol
Book: The Christmas Sweater by Glenn Beck

Okay I'm posting the selections for January and February. Although the January nook is quite common...it is a classic...I have a lovely edition I purchased but honestly have not had time to enjoy it at Christmas because thiongs get quite hectic...For this one it will be fun to share our memories of this classic from childhood....so watch the movie or movies and reread Twas the Night Before Christmas as the 25th will be here before you know it...and start looking for Febs book too!!!
