While heading out to the car today, dvdguy hears "meow" "mrow" "MEOW" and all of a sudden this stray kitty cat comes running towards us like we were his long lost relatives. He was really skinny and in need of some snuggling. We gave him a can of food and he wolfed it down. We took him for a ride in the car to get some lunch and then back home. We decided to call him Buddy. (Actually I decided to...dvdguy just agreed) We called our vet and got him in to get checked out. He snuggled on my lap all the way to the vet. He had his shots and got tested for all kinds of stuff. He's healthy except for being a little dehydrated and having a few fleas. The vet gave us some Frontline and we headed home. Buddy curled up on my lap and proceeded to go to sleep on the way home. We even stopped for some Kentucky Fried Chicken and he didnt' get up. He sniffed but went right back to sleep. He's a cutie pie. Pictures to come....

He's between 6 and 7 months old. Adorable. He's been sleeping most of the day. I don't think he was used to being outside in the wild and is exhausted from trying to find food and protect himself.

The kitty didn't have anything removed...just cash from my wallet. We're in NJ - they don't do nice things like that here.

Kimmi hates everyone who takes attention away from her. SHE is the queen and DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!!!

You have to realize that when I got Kimmi I could hold her in my hand. So she's kind of protective. Where I used to live, she would watch out the window at the back yard, if she saw another cat she would watch them til they went around the side of the house then she would run to the window at the front of the house.
& then we got jr. Thats enough to traumatize anyone

she used to throw herself down the stairs. She injured herself twice at least doing this

Honey Boy showed up at our house about three weeks ago in similar fashion. He's a cute kitten and is slowly finding his place with fellow cats Leah and Bruce plus a new puppy named Mattie.

Junior played fetch and sometimes, if no one would play fetch with her, she would take her fuzzy ball and swat it down the stairs. Then you would hear pa-dump pa-dump pa-dump and she'd go down the stairs after it...not very gracefully I might add. She sprained her leg twice doing this. Man did I love that cat!
