They say that scent is the sense that's most commonly tied to memory so what scents bring back warm and cozy holiday memories for you? I love anything with Cinnamon Spice, Apples, Peppermint, Chocolate Orange and Pumpkin Spice! I sell perfumes and during the holidays these scents are very popular! Oh my goodness and how could I forget Gingerbread and Sugar Cookies :) Anyone hungry now, lol?

You can give two birds a dirt nap with one stone by making yourself some Christmas cookies and eating them! No hunger and no sadness. What could be better? Turn the air waaaay up, as HN7 suggested elsewhere, and watch some of the Christmas movies on dvdguy's list.

Snow smells like... ice, except cleaner. How do you describe a smell? I"m not kidding, either.

hmmmm...smelling snow...I don't think I've ever smelled snow...but then again I was born and raised in Atlanta. We don't get much snow to smell around here. I can smell lettuce too.

Anytime I smell pumpkin pie, apple cinnamon, sugar cookie, gingerbread, pine, or a blazing fire, I instantly think of Christmas!

Growing up I got a new doll every Christmas, so I associate the smell of a new doll with Christmas.
Also the smell of my cut-out sugar cookies baking, ummmmmmmmmm, nice.

Always looking for new ways to conduct Christmas smells through my house, I discovered a new one....scented pads to place on your furnace filter.
I had seen these at Target in one or two scents that didn't inspire me. But this weekend, I found one at Home Depot that is pine scented. I can't wait to try it out!

How about mall Santa's bad breath. Not exactly the most pleasing reminder of Christmas but certainly part of the going-to-see-Santa experience as a youth.

Do you ever wonder why, if a politician is doing the talking on a commercial, he has to still approve the message? Seems obvious to me.

We were fairly poor when I was a kid and would get a visit from the "County Santa," some poor jamoke who was usually hammered and gave out broken toys. As he drove off into the night he would shout, "Sucks to be poor, doesn't it kid?" 8) Ahhh, memories!
