New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) September 7, 2006

Santa's Quarters announces new designs and styles in artificial Christmas trees available this holiday season.

There are a great number of artificial Christmas trees on the market today: pre-lit, unlit, PVC, molded tips, white, flocked, and more. Making a good choice in purchasing an artificial tree can be difficult, and all but impossible without good information. Below you’ll find information about the available selection in 2006, enabling you to make the perfect choice this holiday season.

What’s New
Over the last few years the latest development in artificial Christmas trees has been in material and design. The great majority of trees manufactured in the past have needles made from PVC (poly-vinyl-chloride). Compressed sheets are sliced into shreds, creating the needles that are then attached to the branches of the tree.

More recently, a new breed of artificial Christmas trees with molded tips made from PE (poly-ethylene) has appeared on the market. The needles on these molded tip trees are made in a mold created from their real counterparts, resulting in a far more realistic appearance. Although high quality PVC trees do look realistic, artificial Christmas trees made from PE look so real, you really have to get up close and feel them to discover they’re not. If you’re looking for the most realistic tree you can get, there’s no doubt that the best choice is a tree with molded tips.

Sweet Enola Gay, that's cool! If I hadn't just bought one I'd buy another. Do they make a pine scent to spray on the tree? Do you think is would negatively affect someone with allergies and asthma?

Artifical trees have come a long way. I got myself a Martha Stewart Tree a couple of years ago. It's pretty nice. Maybe sometime in the future I will get one of those molded trees. I remember we had one of those white plastic trees when I was a kid. Good Grief mom what were you thinking? :-o

Maybe we could make one out of hypoallergenic PVC pipe. Festive, yet useful after Christmas for plumbing repairs. Always keep thinking, that's my motto!

My times have changed. Maybe sometime down the road I'll get one of those.

I have a hard time choosing which to buy, I really prefer to see/feel the tree in person but the selection online is so great, prices too.

There was a post there yesterday from a guy claiming he was the owner of Santa Quarters or wrote that article or something and had attached a link to the bottom of his message. Guess it was deemed spam? I just happened to see it yesterday.

I just axed it. No, I didn't axe it a question, I got rid of it.

I was wondering about that and why it was allowed. Looked like advertising to me.

I never saw the original post. I just saw a useless post stating that it had been deleted, so I deleted it.

I see we must have had some spammers in the member list because my sister was like 1113 but that number has dropped.

Some other friends of mine joined but I didn't see their post in the introductions.

Jeff's your man on that one, HN7. I would only delete a post if it contained objectionable material or was an obvious spammer, which none of the new ones have been.

Well more than likely they may not have done it right. People who don't frequent forums are lost when they try to join one.
