This time of year, I teach cartooning summer camps to kids... one of the highlights of the class for them is every day towards the end of the class, I teach them how to draw a cartoon character step-by-step... yesterday, they all wanted to learn how to draw... SANTA CLAUS!

I am in the mood for Christmas! My hubby and I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday just to look at Christmas stuff. They don't have it all out yet but they have a lot!

But sweety you are always in the Christmas mood, but I wouldn't have it any other way. When I am with you, there is always a little Christmas in the air.

I walked into our new Hobby Lobby last weekend. I passed a couple aisles that had fall decorations that started making me feel better, then I found a couple aisles with Christmas decorations!
Needless to say, I hung out there while Nancy did here shopping. cheesy

I am really getting in the mood also. My mom has been working on a felt stocking kit for my youngest niece since she just has to sit around and knowing that we have crossed the halfway point has me ready to go. It will get even worse come all the christmas in july specials. I am planning everything right now but I wish we could just skip the rest of july, august, and september and get on with the holidays.

We picked up some books for stocking stuffers the other day at Dollar Tree. Got several Disney Princess stories and Hannah Montana Books for DD and Winnie The Pooh adventure books for DS. May go back next pay and pick up a few more to use for CIJ on July 25th.
I think later this evening and tomorrow I may have to put in a Christmas movie or 2 or 3. LOL!

that sounds like a lot of fun!
This week I am taking kids to canoe camp. They all get to learn how to paddle a canoe and stay safe on the water.

YES!!!! I know the feeling. i have had some stumbles along the way this year (loosing father in law in may and found out mr.hj's cousin died yesterday) however i am feeling really great about this year. I dunno what is different but something is. I haven't felt this way in a good while. I got teared up earlier when i thought about all the fun things i have planned and can't really wait until November gets here to decorate. i might put a few things out in October, just nothing major. Heck I leave my snowmen out all year long.
