I stopped in our local garden center this AM and couldn't believe what I saw. Many of the garden supplies have been removed leaving a lot of blank space and set up on the floor were four lit up Christmas trees from three to seven feet tall. Additional trees were in their boxes on the floor waiting to be set up. There were no signs about a Christmas in July sale or anything like that. This place usually starts putting Christmas stuff out around a little before Halloween so I guess the Season is starting early. It was a very pleasant surprise on a warm, sunny and humid day. I guess I'll be dropping in quite frequently from now on just to see what's new.

Sweet! Yeah I saw at one of the specialty stores they had two Christmas trees (lights up on them but not plugged in). I pointed it out to my Wife. She looked at me like I was crazy (I am hah).

I can't wait until Tesco has its "seasonal aisle" crammed with fruit cakes and Christmas crackers and stollen and gift sets and tinsel...

...I am actually bouncing up and down in my seat at a ridiculous pace right now. I'm that excited.

Unfortunately I'm not that high on the technology curve at present but I'll talk to my partner and see what we can do. It should only get better week after week. I'll try to keep you all posted.

That is a wonderful sign! I love knowing and seeing that the fall and Christmas season is not too far away. Michaels (craft store) has some of their fall stuff out. Im not a huge fan of summer.. I like going to the beach and pool but I get tired of the heat after a few weeks. Im looking forward to some nice fresh fall weather cheesy

Yay for early Christmas shopping! I haven't been to my home town for a while because of school. I wonder if our dollar tree has any Christmas stuff. My mom works at a craft store and said they have some things out. I'm going to have to visit that store sometime soon.

I'm so ready for the colder season to start!

Great stuff! Don't worry, I do not own a cell phone (little lone one that also contains a camera inside). Anyway, I look forward to any form of updates!

I have not seen anything in the stores here yet (other than Christmas in July), but I am sure it will soon be appearing.

I was at our local conservation area http://www.thamesriver.on.ca/Parks/Wildwood_CA.htm this evening and all along the entrance was Christmas decorations. They where doing Christmas in July and had all kinds of programs set up and where making decorations with the kids. :tree:I totally forgot to take pictures.

I want to go to Hobby Lobby so bad, but I won't let myself until at least October! I just don't wanna overdue it!

I wish there was a Hobby Lobby near me. I never heard of it until I came on these boards. Sounds like a good place to shop. I've not been out and about to know if there are any stores that have started putting seasonal stuff out yet. Maybe I'll be out today though and check it out. My mom wants me to pick up some kind of plant for her today at Home Depot so I'll see if they have anything going on.

It is the same here for most commercial outlets. I don't mind seeing a bit here and there in late September and October, but I am always mesmorized when Christmas takes over everything in November. As long as it does not appear until just after Halloween, I am happy. I can't be filled with so much excitement too early! What a magical time it wil be. Still, however, I am envious of those who have witnessed decorations so early!

I love Hobby Lobby! It's over 30 minutes to the closest one, so I don't go often. I get lots of my scrapbooking paper there and they have good deals on any decor as well. Love strolling along the Christmas aisles!

I wish I knew of a Hobby Lobby near me... guess I'll just have to check the ol' internet.....
I've started staging my Christmas stuff and planning indoor decorations. The Christmas Cards are almost done (300)....
And on one of the online games I play, a friend gave me a snowman and a Christmas Tree.... WOO HOO!
