My university is in south Georgia near Savannah, so I came home to Atlanta this weekend from the ridiculous heat and humidity of south Georgia to actual semi-fall weather here in Atlanta!! The crisp evening air was pleasantly surprising and it reminded me that we're in the DOUBLE DIGITS now!! Only 99 days til CHRISTMAS PEOPLE!! I'm sorry, I'm so excited!

Also, my mom leaves a candy dish on a table by her front door and she keeps Starburst Strawberry Candy Canes in there! I saw a whole other box of candy canes in the pantry tonight too.

Also (#2), my neighbors down at my apartment at school have a sign with pumpkins on it that says: "Welcome Fall" on it.

Christmas is coming HOORAY HOORAY!!

What random signs of the season have you been seeing? Anyone...Bueller?

Well I know Walmart has begun to put their Christmas stuff in the Garden Center. The neighbor people have begun to put up Halloween stuff in their windows. It's still in the 90's here so as far as weather goes no signs.

This one is off the wall. In just a few days, I'll start using my last toothbrush of the year; the one I'll be using on Christmas Day! That's always a sign that Christmas is coming.

Now, how many of you will think about that the first time you brush your teeth on October 1? (That is, if you change toothbrushes every three months of the year starting in January.)

That's definitely not a priority on my list.

I'm using the toothbrush I had last Christmas and will likely have for Christmas 2007. Wow, RJD, you are one organized person! 8)

At least every three months according to four out of five dentists stranded on a deserted island with nothing but "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" to listen to. (And remember boys and girls, a preposition is a terrible thing to end a sentence with.)
