Christmas Marketing in Full Swing

Every Saturday we have Family Night out which consists of buying frozen drinks for the kids and a coffee for me and then spending the evening at Border's or Barnes & Nobel reading books and magazines. I was thrilled last Saturday when I came across the first Christmas issues of several magazines. I realize that many people think that it's just way too early, but for me, I look forward to these first tastes of Christmas.

Then, on Sunday while I was doing the weeks worth of grocery shopping, I came across dried fruit and peel mix and all the other dried fruits that usually only come out at the holidays. This put me in the mood to go home and make some mincemeat cookies. Of course I didn't actually make them yet, but as soon as I get a moment, I'm there.

Every year around late October one of my local radio stations asks its listeners to go on its website and rate from 1 to 10 the best christmas songs. The ones w/the most votes are the ones that makes it on there list of song to play through out the season (They usually start playin all Christmas song the 2nd week in November). It suprised me and did my heart glad to see this on the website. Man, the season is fastly approching!cheesy
