I have broken my ankle

In two places lol!! i broke it yesterday morning (i am in scotland so different time lol) and i thought i had just sprained it, but it was my dad who drove me to accident and emergency cause he thought it looked broken, and he was right lol, i have been walking on it since it happened :lol:

I know it's a crazy request,I kinda giggle when people say it to me,But try and rest as much as ya can.Here's to a speedy recovery,only us Mum's seem to manage. :)

My daughter broke her ankle a few years back and she too walked on it for a couple of days before it was x rayed. Sometimes you just don't think it is so bad!

I have an aircast on, so i can take it off at night time :D which i am over the moon with :lol:
I need to have it on for 5wks and i have elbow crutches now to which is so much easier to use

I've never broken any bones but I can imagine how awful it must be. I hope you mend quickly. And yes, I use to laugh when I was told to rest. When you have small children and a home to take care of, rest is usually not an option.

Been there myself, was too stubborn to go to the Dr. so I let it heal on it's own.
I wouldn't recommend that anyone else do that though. cheesy
