Christmas-A-Holic

Yesterday I was playing Christmas music, put away all my regular coffee mugs and dragged out my collection of Christmas mugs to use. I never bring them out this early. I use Halloween and regular mugs right now and then put those away November 1st to bring out the Christmas ones (which may seem early as well). I have both Halloween and Christmas ones right now. It don't seem like much but it's a small step in bringing my Christmas things out early. Who knows what's next, the tree in October?
Is anyone else getting the urge to bring out their Christmas decorations now?

I have been getting the urge and I have resisted so far. I think the only reason I have resisted is that the decorations are in the attic and my ladder is broken. When I buy my new ladder I see the decorations coming down early.

Nope, I'm with you! I was even looking at buying a Christmas tree (artificial) in the next couple of days. I usually never do that until December but, for some reason, I've been in a Christmas mood since September. I say go with it! What's the harm?
I'm even debating breaking out my Santa underwear; the ones with the fur waist band and bells.

I was listening to Christmas Music yesterday. I think we may start bringing down some of the Christmas lights this weekend or next to start testing them.
My Christmas Mugs are actually used from Nov until March - 6 are snowmen and 6 have a picture of a horse drawn sleigh.

The ladder to my attic is not broken, I think I will climb up there to get my Christmas stuff down!

I love using my Christmas mugs and will soon be trading my everyday coffee cups for the Christmas mugs. I bring out Christmas decor a little at a time until Thanksgiving then it all comes out. Today I'm washing down walls getting ready for the holidays.

I LOVE IT! :-D My Christmas mugs never get put away! Actually I am drinking a cup of coffe out of one now! Well - actually this is just a snowman mug, so it's technically not Christmas, but it is to me! I have 2 Christmas mugs that I keep out all year & I use one of them every day! It's funny when we go away on vacation & stay at a condo, there always seems to be at least 1 Christmas mug in the cupboard when we get there - that quickly becomes MY mug for the duration of vacation! I don't care if I have to get up at 5 am to get that mug!! Ha ha!! (just kidding) But I have a thing for Christmas mugs, I don't know what it is - some people like the Willow collection, some people like precious moments...I like Christmas mugs! I always check them out in the stores - Ben Franklin has some really, really cute ones! I turned Christmas music on in the car yesterday & listened to it today too!

Yesterday while I was working from home, I put my son on a blanket on the floor in his room and sat on the floor with him and played Christmas music. I sang White Christmas and I'll Be Home for Christmas to him. He seemed to like it!!

I'm trying really hard to resist until after Thanksgiving. The boxes will likely come out in the second week of November. Luckily, I have a lot on my plate until then, so it's a little easier for me than usual to resist.

Well...they're supposed to be naughty...but the bells keep me from surprising folks in dark alleyways, so that makes them kind of nice.
