I'd have to say a sweater I got from my grandma, it happened to be EXACTLY like the one I was wearing at the time.

Hehe! Well, maybe since you were wearing one just like it, that was a sure sign you liked it! :D

Don't know if this would be funniest, weirdest maybe. Years ago my (now) ex-brother in law, who is a mortician, gave me a casket pillow. It was plush pink and to be honest at first I didn't know what it was. It was quite soft but my ex couldn't get used to it. I covered it with a pillow case but we still knew what it was. Last Sunday as I was getting my yard sale stuff together I finally burnt it. Figured it was time to let it RIP.

Christy,
That is WEIRD! LOL.
The closest thing to a weird gift I have received was a blown glass frog from my step sister. It's a gorgeous Fritz & Floyd piece, I'm just not into frogs. I like bears, dogs, cats, deer -- especially reindeer, and eastern birds, but some folks seem to think I like frogs, chickens, and elephants. Go figure.

My father was given a huge flying frog that he has hanging in his den. He never figured out if it meant anything or was just nonsense.

Thats too funny. Here I like frogs and chickens and such and everyone wants to buy me all this high end looking bric a brac that doesn't even go with my house. When we moved into our new home I had a friend buy me this very nice toilet paper stand even though both bathrooms had toilet paper holders. I sent a nice thank you card but it's in the top of my closet.

last year my husband left a "Super Duper Reindeer Pooper" in my stocking. It's a little plastic rudolph that poos out little chocolate jelly beans (I gave it to my little brother).

Someone showed me a sheep or a cow that you squeezed and it dropped chocolate, but I will not eat chocolate manure. Even I have limits.

That's not normal for a cow. I worked on a farm and shoveled a lot of stuff that didn't even slightly resemble jelly beans.

Oh my ya know what I just remembered someone got me one of those jelly bean poopin cows. It was the same guy who got me the depends. Do you think he was trying to tell me something? I don't know what I did with it.

I can see giving someone a cow who relieves himself into your hand as a gag gift, but giving someone Depends carries a message that's not too funny to some people. I'd probably like it, but lots of folks would take it as an insult. I like anything that's free.

Well you have to understand the joke behind the depends. I wasn't offended. How do I put this. Let's just say you can't make me laugh to hard.

I have a strange family. We enjoy getting strange gag gifts for each other. Anything to make us all laugh. I remember my mother giving my brothers and my husband (fiance at the time though) an "extendable" fork. It looks like a normal fork, but if you press a button, it expands so you can reach onto someone else's plate and steal their food.

That's hilarious and it could double as a back scratcher.

You could use it to steal food and if you almost get caught, start scratching your back. Then, after dinner you can change your shirt because it has tomato sauce all down the back, but what the hey!

Gag gifts are a part of our family tradition, mainly amongst the adults. A few special ones have been in circulation for years. Someone new gets it each year.

The gift was not really funny, it was my parents comment when I opened the gift.
They gave a dutch boy and girl lawn ornaments, then very seriously said to me, "You are not going to put them outside are you?"
LOL, it was funny.
