How many people go out for black friday? I usually go but with the new baby I am not going to take him out all day in the cold. So I was wondering if Cyber monday has any deals like Black Friday has. Also on Black Friday are the items on sale online also, like the same price as they are in the stores?

The wife and I always go out on Black Friday...we buy a couple of gifts...but it's just to take in the environment.....yes, there are some great deals and most of them are the same....at least I'm pretty sure....

I think the online deals on Black Friday are somewhat the same as going to the stores. However, the idea is to get people into the stores. So I dont think all black friday deals are available online on the actual day of Black Friday. However, on cyber Monday they run the deals they had on Black Friday for the most part.

Last year I found ALL the deals I broke my neck for on Black Friday, were offered again between Cyber Monday and up to two weeks before Christmas. I practically broke my neck trying to get a 32in flat panel TV from Kmart on Thanksgiving day for $399. Only to find the same deal at Best Buy 2 weeks before Christmas. All of the doorbusters I got was offered again a week or two before Christmas. :-?

To make it worst, even after knowing all of this, I still will be out there on Black Friday again this year!!! I think I just have an addiction to Black Friday shopping.

Hubby and I go out just for the fun of it. We don't usually have anything in mind to buy, we just like to watch the people act crazy. We did end up finding some good deals last year on things we needed/were looking for.

I definitely won't be going out this year. I have an infant as well and going to the early morning sales would completely disrupt his schedule, therefore making for a very unhappy little one. Also, with H1N1 going around, I don't think having him around huge crowds during the height of the flu season is the smartest thing to do! So yea, I'm with you about not taking the baby out in the cold all day! It'll have to be "Cyber Monday" for us!

The hubs and I go out shopping on Black Friday, but for many years we both worked retail and shopping on Black Friday wasn't an option since we were at work. That's when I discovered that a lot of the stores have the same deals on-line either Friday or Cyber Monday.

I love to go shopping on black friday. It is the only time of the year that I don't mind the crowds.
