A pod is individually wrapped tea or coffee in its own filter for ease of use. You place the pod into a pod machine and flip the latch and then it builds up steam and forces hot water thru the pod and out into your cup. Takes like 2 mins. Many flavors of pods are available.

Be careful with those. I got a Black and Decker for Christmas last year and after about a month of using it the pods started exploding. It made a funny noise and no water was coming out so I opened it. Big mistake, it shot hot grounds all over my hands and neck and I got burnt. Needless to say it went back to Wal-Mart. I googled it online and found that the same thing had happened to others.

fyi.... brand names bought at walmart are not the same as what you would buy at say BB & B. look at the model number. it will say XXXXXX-WM this means it is a cheaper version made especially for walmart.

mrshfromjersey
10-09-2006, 06:58 PM
My last one leaked a little towards the end. I had it for three years and I used it every day. The key to a really good cup of coffee is to wet the pod before you put it in the coffee maker. The wet pod makes a better seal and the hot water is forced through it much better. Very yummy.

I've never noticed anything crunchy, I read in The National Enquirer once how a big flakey scab was found in a fast food sandwich. Apparently fell off the arm of the cook. I think it's on display somewhere now.

The day before dvdguy and I got together, I said - out loud with him sitting right next to me - "I give up on men. I'm going to stay single and spend all my money spoiling myself". I was tired of having to make the first move (when did guys get so shy?) and I has SWORN that I'd never ask a guy out on a date again. I had been waiting for dvdguy to make a move for weeks. The day after I said that, I made the first move. DON'T GIVE UP HOPE. There are good guys out there. They are becoming rarer by the minute, but they are there.
Good luck!

After a little reading, I found out that he has been singing under the name Yusuf Islam since the '90s and living in Great Britain. One of his albums' names was: A is for Allah. :| He just released a new album this year entitled An Other Cup. Apparently he credits some of his change to being hospitalized with Tuberculosis, and has been calling himself Yusuf Islam since the late 70s.
