The most unusual place you had to 'hide' presents!!

Currently some of my daughters gifts are on top of the freezer in the kitchen lol...in boxes of course!!

Mine isn't a very weird place, but my dad snoops REALLY bad, so in order for his christmas presents to be a suprise I hide them at my granparents house, in their garage.cheesy

My girls never wanted to snoop. They care too much about being surprised. But before I knew that, I hid things in the closet, under the bed and in a trunk in the shed.:}

I keep them in my closet now that it is me and mom here. When I was still living at home with my sisters I use to hide them behind the washing machine.

One year my step-father bought my mother a new wedding ring, something happened to her other one. Well he didn't want her to know what it was by the size of the box. So he gave it to me and said to put it as big a box I could find. So I got a box about the size of a 26 inch TV, it was pretty big. So I put the small box with the ring in it on the bottom of the box and filled the rest of the box with newspaper. My mom sees the box and then realizes it is way too light, but then starts digging through the newspaper until she finds the ring, she was very surprised, it was a cool moment.

I have presents in my father in laws work shed that is locked up behind our house. Also presents locked up in the back of our car under where the tire goes. However that is where I hide my wifes presents. I have also found out that kids like looking for presents more than finding them so if you hide them almost in plain sight they will check everywhere else except whats right in front of them.

Mine are usually hidden either in the truck of my car, or in the antique trunk at the end of my bed. One year though,I had gotten a huge stuffed horse for my daughter, wouldn't fit in the trunk in the bedroom. I had to stick it in the walk in closet in her brothers' room. They had so many clothes on top of it, she never noticed it.

Usually it's a closet but one year I had to hide some in the bathroom. I have forgotten where I stashed them so now I make lists. It really makes a kid feel special when they're told that Santa forgot a gift and made a special trip in July to give it to them! cheesy
