Anybody seen AUSTRALIA with Nicole Kidman ? I rented it last night. It was so moving and such a great movie, one of the best I've seen in a long time. It's about an English aristocrat following her husband to Australia where she meets a cattle driver and an aboriginal child. Won't tell the rest. Beautiful scenery, suspension, romance, war,..... Do watch it if you get the chance !

It also explains the current apology of the Australian government to the "stolen generation" when children like this little boy Nullah get taken away from their families and send to a mission where they often were abused and neglected.

Yes I bought the DVD before I seen the movie and I'm so glad I did. The critics were not kind to the movie but to me it was an epic that Hollywood has forgotten how to make in many years. I loved it and all the actors and producers etc. should be very proud to be a part of this wonderful movie.
