I am about to turn in myself. I used to be a nite owl too but I just can't hang anymore. We went and sat around a bonfire for a few hours tonite and watching the flames and getting all warm didnt do anything except make me sleepy.

Not with these old codgers. They like to watch TV while they work. They got rid of cable for awhile but discovered there was nothing on on Saturday mornings and they ended up having to talk, so they got cable again.

When I was a kid my mom would always call the shop before I arrived and tell the dude how short to cut my hair. He would still ask me how I wanted it but would do whatever she said. The two old dudes that ran the place would talk and talk, usually about hemmroids or sports, even politics. Sometimes all at once and of course I was interested in none of these.

I been to Graceland but don't recall how long it took. Was a nice drive really. I recall a guy at a convenience/gas station who walked over from a shed in back and offered to sell me a quart of oil for $7. Very friendly people in TN.
