Why do we not have this option anymore? I no longer get the edit option? I hate when I make mistakes and can't fix them.

I've got your back. I take the liberty of correcting many posts if the meaning is lost by a misspelling or if it's embarrassing or if it just bugs me. My ONLY vice!

I have noticed that in certain forums I lose the edit button, or the delete button. I have also noticed that when I quote someone, sometimes I jump to another area, as HN7 said. And don't worry, I will never edit a post to remove text or to be funny. If something is objectionable, I will always contact the poster if I know them or if it's someone new, just delete it altogether. Talk to Jeff about your superpowers. He should be able to restore them.

LOL! I just dislike making typos. I don't see them until after I hit the submit button. I don't like to bug Jeff to much the poor guy.

I always fix my posts and dvdguys if we are typing late at night and have finger issues. If you want, I will make any changes you need. Just let me know.

Well I guess I don't understand why I suddenly don't have the ability to edit my own post.

It hasn't been purposely taken away from anyone. As I said, it is still true of me in certain forum areas. Just a programming issue.

I've been pretty healthy since I moved here. My worry is when I head back to MD for Thanksgiving. What am I going to bring home with me. My family up there always seems to be sick with something.

Is it on every forum you cannot edit your posts? Or is it a specific forum? Try it in a couple of places and then let me know. Probably it is just happening in one or two topic areas and we'll just need to tweak it a bit.

Yea it appears to be in certain areas because I was just able to edit a typo in another post.

I've noticed in certain places I could not use the edit.

Make not of which forum you're in...for example, right now we're in Board Business...and let me know. I'll tweak until you can do your edits.
Can't you guys spell it right the first time?
