Another Saturday night...

Here I am on Saturday night, sitting home and checking the boards. Not quite sure what kind of night life there is around here. Since we're both feeling yucky, we've stayed in most of the day. I curled up at 2pm and slept until 6pm.
How is everyone? What's new? Let me live vicariously through you.....

Not much happening around these part eithers. BF is hunting and I am cooking supper. We will head down to a friends house later to sit around a wood burning stove and swap stories.

I cleaned house today, watched the Razorbacks slaughter the Ol Miss Rebs, went for a walk...a whole lot of nothing I guess.

Was really nice and sunny here earlier but now it has clouded it up and the winds are picking up too. Gonna be a cold night.

Just scarfed a huge bowl of white chili, did the dishes. Anything good on tv tonight? too cold and crappy to go out. Though I could use some Häagen-Dazs

dvd guy is playing a video game, so that's what I'm watching on tv. He went out and brought home a cooked chicken, mashed taters and I heated up some corn for dinner. I'm now sitting here trying not to fall asleep. Don't feel like crafting, baking or reading, so I'm on the boards and surfing the web.

tho the weather outside is frightful......


the cold front is just starting to get here. wind has picked up and the temp has dropped 10*. i am in the middle of making breakfast for dinner... bacon and eggs, toast and jam and a cuppa hot choc to go with!

The kitty is curled up on the chair next to dvd guy watching him play lego star wars video game. I'm on the couch trying to find old radio shows online and posting here.

Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner, I actually dozed off for a bit there. I like the smell, too, but back in June I fell off our garage roof removing an aerial antenna. Ever since my back has been a little screwed up.

OW!!! I hear ya when you say it hasn't been the same since. My car was hit by a delivery truck almost three years ago and it messed up my neck really bad. Had surgery in March and I'm much better, but some days...buh!

Thanks. You know it's funny. When it first happened, I was shaken but generally alright. I pulled the antenna aside, put the ladder away, and went inside. Then I got progressively achier over the next few days until I was nearly bed-ridden. I'm alright now except for one spot in my lower back on the right and my right shoulder. They only act up maybe once a week.

Here's to Icy Hot! :eek:

... and to fewer of "those" days.

i took a little nap, then was woken up by another friend who was looking to go to an after party with me....so now i'm up. oh, it's not the flu, i was standing up for four hours in the south georgia sun screaming my head off...so i was a little spent and have a scratchy throat
