View Full Version : Who will win the Superbowl?

Before the playoffs start, I want predictions on who you all think will be in and who will win the Superbowl. At this point, considering how some teams played better and some worse at the end of the season, it's hard to guess. Ok here's my guess.
I say it will be the Vikings and the Colts. It's hard to go against those 2 teams the way they played all season.
And I say the Colts will hand the Vikings their 5th Superbowl loss.

I think the Colts will win the Super Bowl. I think they will play either the Cowboys or the Vikings in the Super Bowl. I can't decide between the two.

The Green Bay Packers will win the Super Bowl (two words), because no team plays better in the cold and snow.:snowball:

I know I picked the Vikings to start this thread, but those Cowboys are looking pretty darn good. I am not saying that because I live in Dallas either, I wasn't even sure they could beat the Eagles again. But that defense is playing awesome!
And sorry Bengals fans, I was kinda pulling for them myself, I remember when Marvin Lewis was the defensive coordinator for the Ravens, that's when they won the Super Bowl.

The Cowboys looked tough last night. If they keep playing like they did last night, they may win the Super Bowl. The other teams need to watch out.

WOO HOO!!!! Now my away from home team, the Ravens, just beat up on the Patriots. Just for those who don't know I am from Maryland, and now live in Dallas. The Ravens are still in my heart and I have adopted the Cowboys as my new home team. So I am not bandwagon jumping, I will always cheer for the Ravens and the Cowboys. If they meet in the Super Bowl, I don't know what I will do.

That is hard to believe that the Steelers didn't make the playoffs. But you know they are a good team, so they will be back. But as a Ravens fan, I am not that upset about it.cheesy

Snow-in-texas- I think it is going to be a good game between the colts and ravens next week. The colts usually have a tough time with the ravens and after seeing how they played yesterday I am kind of worried.

I agree, they almost won when they played last time. Of course that's new Baltimore team against old Baltimore team, so it should be a good one.

Still got a feeling about the jets. Their D is looking mighty good.
My picks for this weekend (which means all the teams I choose will prob lose...) are:
Colts
Jets
Vikings
Saints
Snow-in-Texas
01-16-2010, 07:40 AM
Brett Favre will show his usual "I gotta do it all myself" attitude and try to throw it all the time. The Cowboys' defense will eat him alive. Favre's biggest problem is his arrogance. Don't get me wrong is is one of the greats, definitley a hall of famer, but sometimes he thinks he can do things he can't. Plus he has a terrible record against the Cowboys.

AFC Championship Game will be between Jets and Ravens Cowboys to play Cardinals
Superbowl Cowboys v Ravens
Dallas to win
I was tipping Colts for a while but after watching the Ravens dismantle the Pats they are looking awesome, I think the Jets v Ravens if they get to the AFC Championship game will not be for the faint hearted and could well be the game of them all.
Dallas are now on a Roll and their Doomsday Defence fame of the 70's looks to be back

Well congrats to you Made582 and all other Colts fans. I never saw a team lose a game so many ways like the Ravens did tonight.:? Get 2 interceptions and just give it right back, way too many penalties. The Ravens didn't deserve to win that game. Good luck to the Colts the rest of the way.

I hope Favre has good medical insurance cheesy, he is a very good player but he is not as quick as he used to be, and the one thing he has not faced this season is a team with speed of the Dallas Defence, Ratliffe is a very quick Nose Tackle and and cause huge problems, add into the speed of Ware & Spencer, with Spears and Brooking not forgetting Hamlin and the rest of the secondary

I would hate to be the Colts coach if they lose to the Jets. If you recall, the Colts rested their starters most of the regular season game against the Jets. Which allowed the Jets to win and that's how the Jets got into the playoffs. If the Jets lost that game, they wouldn't have made the playoffs.

At the rally I went to yesterday we were are chanting "Let's finish what we started". Hopefully the team is thinking the same thing and using it to motivate themselves.

cheesy Well, I cheered for the Blue team because that's my favourite colour. Perhaps if I had been a bigger fan, the Colts would have won. Instead, it appears that I made the players uneasy and they lost. HaHa.
