I feel like crap!

Tuesday, I felt like I had a pimple or something in my ear. Thursday night it bothered me a bit more. Friday morning, it was quite swollen. I went to school and called for a doctor appointment. I got one after school. When I got to see the doctor, he tried to look in my ear. It was swollen but he managed to carefully get a look. Dang! It hurt! He diagnosed me with Otitis externa and told me I had Cellulitis. It hurts on my neck, my left cheek, behind my ear and of course, in my ear. He said that if I waited until Monday, I'd likely be in the hospital. Yikes! Taking it easy today. I'm giving my recliner a workout. I'll be back there in a few minutes. I'm on a strong antibiotic and ear drops. I have to apply heat 4 times a day. I'm beat...no energy.

There's lots of side effects with the oral medicine I'm on. Prayers appreciated that I do well on it. Thanks.

There is nothing worse than a problem with the ears....Especially if it involves erythema and cellulitis AND antibiotics on top of all that. I really hope you feel better soon...........You are in my prayers also.

I think the swelling is down a little and it doesn't seem to hurt as much. I can't hear a darn thing from my left ear, though.

Went to work (school) today. I was pushin' it. I came home exhausted! I was so exhausted that I couldn't sleep. I did sit back and relax a bit.
