Just wondering if anyone knows the Burlington area? I am going to be there for about 1 & 1/2 weeks and would like to find some interesting places to visit. I am thinking with in a 2 hour drive radius of Burlington / Milton.
Already know about the covered bridges and of course, Ben & Jerry's!
The travel brochures are great, but do not usually mention the interesting small places tucked away where only the locals know.
So if anyone has traveled there or lives there, I would appreciate some inside info. cheesy
Thanks

done all that, but what we are looking for is that out of the way, never shows up on a tourist site stuff only someone who has been there before knows about. cheesy

I have been to Vermont one time many years ago for work (I was repairing cooling towers). I was in a small ski resort town called Woodstock (not the one you are thinking of, that's in New York) and then we went to Burlington. All I can tell you it is absolutely beautiful up there. The one time I was on field service and didn't want it to end.
