I begin decorating for Christmas TODAY !
Snow is falling...

:o Really!
I normally wait until the first weekend in December.
As much as I'd love to start decorating today, my family don't, and I kinda don't want to overdo the Christmas feeling this early...just in case it runs out of steam come the 25th!

I stopped by my moms this morning and she has all of her decorations right inside the door of a spare bedroom she uses for storage. I think she is ready too.
I am gonna start going thru my stuff soon...gotta see what I am gonna use at home or at work and see what I need to pick up at the store. While I might not decorate yet its never to early to start preparing!!

I was just saying last night that now I can start putting stuff up and not look too strange. I'm thinking about hanging lights on the gutters today before it starts getting icy up there.

You shouldn't get any looks at all since you're behind the stores already. I mentioned somewhere last night that on my way home from work Kroger had put out huge inflatable Santas and tin soldiers and such, as if Halloween was already a thing of the past.

It was a thing of the past on tv by around 7:30-8 last night. It was like someone flipped a switch and out came all the Christmas commercials. Last mention of Halloween I got was a small snippet on the 10:00 news.

i enjoy my fall stuff here too much to yank it down just yet... will probably wait another week or so b4 i start sorting thru stuff to decide what i can put out here. this is a much smaller apt than i am used to! going to have to decorate with a lighter hand this year. it may kill me.

I will put up my Thanksgiving decorations first. I have a bunch of turkeys I like to display. But come November 25th they will all start coming down.

Oh I agree too!! Try the lower fat kind (it's really awesome too and with slightly less guilt!).
As far as decorations go...I am putting those lights on the house the very first weekend it's warm. I am so tired of getting them up there in freezing weather...they are going up the first chance I get.
