Should be an interesting time for cellular phone users and satellite TV subscribers.

Folks who have dropped their home telephone service in favor of cellular phones will wish they had not. Solar flares are notorious for wrecking radio communications which is what a cell phone really is.

Probably wouldn't hurt to put up a real TV antenna as well.

Well, nothing really. Although, if it happens to be the end times, there would be no use in worrying as there would be nothing I could do about it anyway. I don't foresee it happening though. I agree with Reindeerelf, in that it could get interesting.

This response may seem a little lame but here goes. I do worry/get anxious about this stuff but ultimately I feel that it is not really up to the scientists, NASA or whoever. To me, it is ultimately up to God. Humans can predict/have predicted many many disasters before in the past they were sure were going to happen and they never came true. To me, it is ultimately up to Him. It doesn't hurt to try and prepare, I guess though.

I've been following the solar activity thing for the last couple of years and I cannot tell you how many times I've heard that solar flares or whatnot was going to cause issues....and it never does. If there were more here, I'd think we'd be hearing about it in the major media.

I was just curious as to what others thought as well...
Christmasheart- that is EXACTLY what I always say too... no one knows. BUT when it happens we will all know because it will be like touching the eyeball of God. :)
