Will started preschool today ... he was in homecare up until now but I wanted him to have a group experience before kindergarten next year. I am feeling so stressed, he only went for the morning and had no tears but the teacher did say he was sad during a transition and needed his bear...

I hope they hugged him :(

He will go again tomorrow for a half day and then Friday onwarsd he will be full days...

Big steps, he will learn to love it I'm sure, the first day is always the toughest, probably for us parents though. He will look forward to it as he makes friends.

Well day two was a bit sadder for him... ugh..

why must I feel guilt about everything.. :(

well day 3 was rough... wow..he sobbed and sobbed.. :( I have called to check in but no one has called me back yet...

I need a martini.. lol

Oh no :?. My son started pre school Tuesday but he is only 3 years old and goes Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 1/2 hours. He goes back Tuesday. I hope his day doesnt get worse either since he seemed ok the first day. Im sure it will get better for Will. Keep us updated!

Will is actually still 2.. turns 3 in October... he was in homecare but I want him to have some group experience before JK....

well day 3 was not all bad... he ate lunch and napped and woke up happy :) He said fun at preschool mommy when I picked him up :)

I know he will adjust ... it is just so hard not to feel like the meanest mom on the bloock when he cries as I walk out.. lol

alot of time day 1 and 2 are easiest, then they realize they must keep coming back here... like a honeymoon phase...

I am an ECE so I know he will be ok, just as I told many moms when they walked out hearing their babes cry... just have to tell my heart that.. lol
