xmas decorations...too early?

well this week has been a long, hard one at work so i though this weekend i'd do a few christmas things.
i wraped a few xmas presants, while watching home alone on saturday,
and today i decorated my bedroom, not the rest of the house... i dont want to go over the top too soon... cheesy
i was wondering if you think its too early? for me its not, the nights and mornings are a little colder and the nights a drawing in. Plus i feel, anything to put a smle on your face is a good thing..... let it snow!! :snowball:

Is it to early?,i would say yes but if it makes you happy then thats all that matters,just be careful you dont get bored with the decorations because 3-4 months is a long time to have them up,i put mine up at the end of november so i have them up around 4-5 weeks max and thats just right for me,i know what your saying about the days are geting colder and darker and that always puts you in the christmas mood.

I say DO IT! If is makes you happy...I don't see anything wrong with it. Everyone is different - so you may have differing opinions on this. For me - I put my Christmas Tree and decorations up earlier than most (the countdown now is 55 days!). But - I want to enjoy it for as long as possible, and I don't get bored seeing our beautiful Christmas tree and all the decorations - and all the lights every day! It really makes my heart feel warm and happy! I normally put my nativity scene up mid-October. It is beautiful! Plus...I have a number of Christmas items displayed in my home all year long.

I would love to put mine up now. But alas my Wife wont let me ;) But they do go up November 1st. If you want to go for it! Enjoy them! We only get to enjoy them for so long and then they get put away again. Makes me sad to see them go.
