COOL!! Now we are in the know. I still see Potter on it but I am thrilled to see Polar Express. I went to see that at the movies with a friend of mine, her 12 year old sis and 12 year old niece and I think I enjoyed it more than any of them. Glad to see some new movies on there too. Come on Dec. 1st

I love Polar Express, too. When I bought it last year I didn't think I'd like it, but I was blown away by some of the animation.

Me too!! I think I spend most of the movie leaning forward in my seat with my mouth wide open. Esp. the last half of the movie.

I've got my calendar marked with the nights that I want to watch. I have most of the Christmas animated shows on DVD but I'm excited about the new movies and Polar Express. I just don't get why they include Harry Potter!

That was last year Casey. Try the new movies... they sound good too!

Christy Carol

I think they should remove the Potter movies and add back in the ones that Casey mentioned. I really like Special Delivery (that is the Andy Dick movie). But I bet if you looked real hard you will find them running on other channels.

I'm not a Potter fan but as long as they have a good mix of shows I'm ok with it

Are you SERIOUS?? How can they NOT show this? It is a Christmas tradition! What a bunch of losers. Someone dig up their address and lets start a mass email. We will email them each day threatening to boycott. (You dont have to tell them you dont have ABF Family!)

Ok OK chill, I do believe that the christmas classics they refer to showing on 2 weekends will include the little drummer boy and some of the other stop animation shows you all are looking for. Just be patient. They are running those other shows due to the fact that YOUNGER audiences are how they seem to be gearing the programs. Send them some feedback and let them know what you want, I am sure that on Christmas EVE and Christmas DAY they will be showing things like crazy.

It is called A Town Without Christmas starring Patricia Heaton and Peter Falk. Only one of my most fave tv Christmas movies!

Only they weren't detectives... Patricia Heaton was an investigative reporter and Rick Roberts is an out of work writer returning to his hometown for Christmas. Peter Falk plays an angel named Max. Excellent movie.

I have a question for everyone...last year my g/f & I were watching an abc family original movie that was a part of the 25 days of christmas. She wondered if it was going to be on this years schedule...the only problem is that she does not know the name of the title...go figure. All that we can remember about the film is that it involved a chief running his own resturant (which was going bankrupt) and a girl that he is falling in love with, who is a famous food critic. Of course it takes place in a city...thinking new york. What is the name of this movie?? Is this movie going to be on the new schedule?? Or will it be on another station like Hallmark?? Thanks. :wiggy:

Ervserver

Good chance I have it recorded. Can you tell us any other clues? What time period was it set in? Remember any of the actors/actresses? Any little thing might job my memory.

**edit

This is the lineup for last year. Didnt see anything on it that matches what you are looking for. Are you sure of the channel?

Thanks for everyone's help...but I remembered an actress in the movie. Christine Baranski from the Birdcage, played the mother of the main character...so I went over to IMDB.COM & checked her filmography and found the movie, Recipe for a Perfect Christmas.
It was told to me that it was apart of the 25 Days of Christmas last year...but as Christy Carol (thank you) showed me in her link to last years schedule...the actress poped in my head and then the search began.

So again, thanks to Christy Carol & Ervserver for their efforts.

By the way, if anyone is interested in this film my g/f highly recommends this film... Recipe for a Perfect Christmas (2005) will be airing in the US Thursday December 7th @ 9:00 PM on the LIFETIME channel.
