Seems like the last few days, all the christmas commercials have come out! I've noticed some for target and walgreens. We are getting closer! :D

Definitely. I started seeing a bunch of them the day after Halloween, and I'm seeing more and more every day.

I'm sick of the Big Lots "vote for the spokes elf" commercials

You're not alone, that I can say with confidence.

I love Big Lots, but they are turning me off. Makes me think that I'll get mugged by an elf if I go there.

Somehow I don't think they got that from their focus group on that one.

I have noticed. Also Christmas city decorations are up. Christmas music is being played in stores, however I have not found any on radio.

night before last, local news did a story on homes in dallas who already had extravagant (their word) xmas displays out!

I keep seeing that "holiday" commercial for the credit cards...visa maybe?

Roast turkey with all the trimmings...$55.
Full house around the holidays...priceless.

I swear I see it like 10 times a day, but no big lots commercials yet.

How close are you to Dallas? The paper here will list neighborhoods that are deck out that you can go visit.

That's Dallas/Ft. Worth for those that may be wondering. :D
It's actually pretty high on my list for my next place of residence, but since I already am familiar with Houston it's got a slight edge.

I had an appraisal company try to get me to move there a couple of years ago. I'm glad I didn't because I found out from some appraisers that worked there that things weren't too good with the company. They also owed alot of taxes.

So true, and even though I'll always have places to stay in Chicago, it wouldn't be the same.
