I hate those. We get them in our shed. I have a can of raid just inside the shed that I have to use all the time.

I got them really bad last summer, have not seen them in a few weeks since its cooled down.although I dont know if that has anything to do with it anyway. I got wasp killler spray because they were building nests above the front door. it would just kill those particular wasps and the next day day a new brood would arrive.

I saw a bee the other day when it was 70 degrees outside. I think when it's colder they get sluggish and go away but if you've been having warmer weather lately then they are probably out enjoying the last hurrah of summer like everyone else is. I wouldn't worry too much about it in your house (unless you're allergic), it will cool down and he'll not have much strength. He probably won't bother you. I wouldn't want it in my house but I'm just saying that he probably won't bother you.

One of my biggest fears are bees and wasps. I have seen a few around lately I think because it has been warmer again. Its suppose to cool back down over the next few days and be rainy and damp so I am hoping they will be gone for the season!

I had to get rid of 2 wasp nest yesterday. They were LOADED with wasp. I think there were at least 50 on each nest. It was near our lawn equipment and afraid if we try to get our things the wasp will attack. Our temps are still warm during the day so it's normal for us this time of year.

Thanks!!! I was more petrified because my son was having a nap on the sofa. Ive never been stung but I dont like them...they just hover and they come so close to you. The weather has been weird lately so I guess they dont know what season it is but saying that I ahve an ivy bush out the back and they are attracted to that stuff arent they?

They all die off at this time of the year. First decent frost or spell of cold weather will see the end of them :treeguy:
