Its hot but Im still playing music

Its hot outside but in my spirit Im cold and the season is showing up everywhere. Christmas music played in most stores (none on radio yet) Christmas shows start this weekend, and Ive already seen commercials like crazy. How bout yall, whats your holiday Meter looking like?

It's unseasonably warm up here, but I still have the Holiday Lite on and sipping a cold glass of egg nog. It's 64°... that's just not right. I should be on the roof like I've been saying for a week, but this morning our hot water heater blew out so I was tending to that.

79 here and I'm in a Christmas mood. We have all the Rudolph action figures out on the table and I'm posing them.

I will crank something up on the way home, maybe Harry Connick's 'Sleigh Ride'. It is so jazzy and upbeat maybe it will make me feel more Christmasy.

So do I, but I must admit I'd probably have been complaining a lot more today if it were 20° and snowing. Hopefully tomorrow the outside lights will go up because I finally went and cleaned the gutters. Ran out of daylight before the lights were ready.

I too am ready for winter but it was nice today while I was walking. My fingers and nose didnt freeze. Saturday the high is gonna be 59 here so I will enjoy it while I can.

We're going from 78º today and tomorrow to 52º on Saturday. It'll feel pretty chilly by comparison.

Its unusually warm here. Yesterday it was 69 degrees! Thats just crazy for november in the midwest. But my holiday cheer is still roaring! Im looking up crafts and recipe for christmas online like crazy. :-D
