... that on this board, almost every question posed, or point made, or whatever; almost every thread started, no matter the subject, ends in a discussion of eggnog or chocolate or both?!!!
:D

Why yes. Yes I have. I think we may have Erv to thank for the majority of that. I'm not complaining, though.

When I read Elf's post I actually went and poured myself a mug. What's proper toasting etiquette via the internet? :D

LOL!! Its the diet thing. The eggnog flavored creamer isn't as fattening as the real stuff....even though now that you mention it I bet I could use the fat free eggnog instead.
Thanks Elf for the wakeup call!!

Still dont know. I cant find anyone around here that carries it. I am hoping WalMart will have it in this weekend since they had the soy variety last time I was there.

You know I just noticed now that the stuff I've been sipping on all day was "Low-Fat". It's not the best I've had, but it's not bad.

maybe they make the low fat nog with egg beaters

Upon further investigation, they used nonfat milk in the mix. The first two ingredients listed are milk and then nonfat milk.

I'll have to try the low fat stuff, I do use 2% milk on my cereal and survive.

we picked up some of the fat free kind and it wasn't bad. of course my hubby spiked it when I wasn't looking...lol.

I'm actually not all that fond of milk by itself. On cereal I could even use skim and not be bothered by it. Whatever it takes to choke down those wheat nuggets.

I won't drink milk...at all...to me, it's nasty! I'll put a little bit on cereal and I use it in my cocoa and cooking but other than that...No milk for me. That's what calcium suppliments are for...lol.

I think the low-fat egg nog is actually pretty good. It's just *slightly* thinner to me though, but I can deal with it.
I have never even seen the fat free egg nog! This year I can't even seem to find the low-fat stuff.
But I do like the soy stuff too...much less fat as well.

I did see a soy eggnog at the store, not tried it though.

I made an involuntary groaning sound when I read about soy eggnog. Probably goes great with tofu cookies.
