Just curious how many and what type of Christmas parties everyone goes to each year... work, church, friends, family??? We only have a couple each year. One is the cookie exchange party that I hold every year for all the neighborhood ladies. And the other is a party with all of hubby's extended family. I look forward to these every year. :)

Now, I only go to two- one at my mom's school and the other at my hubby's aunt's house. No one else I know throws Christmas parties! I'd go to more if people I knew would throw them. Maybe me and hubby will throw one this year.

We only go to one or two...usually my hubbys work party and maybe one other. I want to have a huge bash like in Christmas with the Kranks, that is my ideal holiday party, but no one i know really does anything like that. Maybe I should start the tradition?!?

ME TOO! I would love to have a huge party like that! It always looks so festive and fun. That's my favorite part of that movie. :tree:

We almost never have christmas parties! I know the university always hosts a christmas prom, but i'm almost always in Paris when that happens (also not bad!)
None of my friends host a christmas party, I wish i could start such a tradition, but i really don't have the space to do so, furthermore, i don't know if my boyfriend would be the person for it, but maybe if we moved by the time christmas comes around NEXT YEAR i can convice him that a christmas party would be good :P

Two or three. The problem is that most of the parties are usually scheduled on that Saturday before Christmas, making it so everyone has to choose.

I attend maybe 4. Work, friends and family. the work one is always fun. Open bar and yes someone always manages to make a fool of themselves.(never me though):)

We are always invited to a couple each year but it depends on our schedule if we attend any of them or not.

Usually at least 2 because we have Christmas parties at me and my Wifes work. Then we go to other ones if our friends are having one.

Unfortunately, I have a very small family and only one really close friend. The only Christmas party I get invited to is my office party and I go to that only if it's close and a place where seafood is not its primary offering.

Since my parents are divorced and my dad and husband are Jewish, we do two different Hanukkah parties with them and then I spend Christmas with my mom. It's definitely an adventure! :)

Well my husband go to one with his mates.

But I would love to start a tradition of having one early in December.
But in my family there is birthday celebrations every weekend of December,
so we meet then.
(and Im the only one (I know) loving Christmas as much as I do)

Three. Two work ones and one with friends. Love the atmosphere out and about over the festive season. Everyone just seems a bit happier.

I was two - The bank I worked at for four years always had one. But I started working for a different bank and this branch at least didn't have one last year and I don't think are planning one for this year either!

Maybe I'll try to get something going this year. A lot of people I work with are from out of town. I live in town, so maybe I'll invite everyone over for a little get together on a Friday night...Get some catering or something done?

My husband's work always has a big Christmas party. They rent a hall, catering, drinks, I love it! I look forward to it every year.

Our church is having a banquet this year that I'd like to go to, so we may hit that up as well.
