I like cooking holiday meals and I like cooking also. I bet there is no one else here who likes cooking besides me. I like cooking cake and I want to learn how to make pie and bread. I make cookies and tacos and stuff like that. :served:

Nice to meet you, Slick. I started to cook around your age, too. There are quite a few people on here that like to cook, also. It's good that you like it, because it's definitely something that will serve you well in years to come.

Welcome Slick. I love to cook also. Here's a really easy and tasty cake to make:
Dump Cake
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1 box white or yellow cake mix
butter or margarine tub
Pecan halves (optional)
Preheat oven to 350
Grease 9 x 12 aluminum cake pan. Place cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple in pan. Mix up a little. Spread cake mix evenly over fruit filling. Place pecans around top of cake mix. Dot with spoonfuls of butter/margarine. Bake for 45 minutes in preheated oven.
Enjoy!

Hello Slick, long ago I discovered I like to eat so I figured I better learn how to cook. A couple schools later I love to cook and look forward each year to cooking great holiday meals.

Welcome, slick! Mind if I ask how you chose that name? I know this seems like an odd question coming from someone named sheepsnot, but I am just curious. Glad to have you here and am looking forward to hearing your stories of Christmas at the Westover home. 8)

well sheepsnot I use that name because when I was ten my dad got me on this thing called fantasy baseball. and I used slick for that season. and that first year I was in it I won the whole thing. and my favorite sport is baseball and because I am skinny. I am called a toothpick and a monkey. well thats how I got it. :D
