View Full Version : A quiet evening at home on a Friday night

After several weekends of running around partying, preparing for my sisters wedding and studying my booty off, I am finally taking the time to chill out and not do ANYTHING. I'm sitting at home alone watching movies and hanging with my dog. This should seem slightly pathetic for a college student, but I'm pretty happy about it. I need a break before all heck breaks loose during Thanksgiving/my sisters wedding and the weeks following up to my graduation.

What are you doing tonight? Anything special??

Packed away a good deal of Chinese food about two hours ago (looking for the leftovers already), catching up on a few over-due projects here and there, testing/repairing the outdoor light strands, and maybe watching a couple movies tonight.

I never really cared for that movie. Maybe just a little bit weird for my tastes.

today was the first time in almost ten days that i have felt good! spent the afternoon tooling around. saw a great book in B & N about the reasons that santa claus is real. will go suss it out on amazon for yall. anyway, after my truly fab afternoon, which included a gingerbread latte, i came home, ordered a pizza and watched a little msnbc (just call me mrs olbermann). we have a cold front moving in, so i took a hot shower and got into my fave pjs and now i am watching NUMB3RS and chatting here and elsewhere. having a cig and a cuppa hot choc with extra whippie. will probably crash after bill maher.

We were suppose to go hang with the gang and have Thanksgiving but BF went by himself. After this day I just wanted to chill at home in the peace and quiet. I did go and rent some movies, we have watched Over the Hedge and now we are watching Click.

The cold front has moved in here, sis just text me and said it was snowing at her house but it has been bad stormy here tonite.

i sent him an email last year after a particularly eloquent speech... told him if he was ever in texas i would love to buy him a bev!

:D

you know thse emails that go around... with 25 or so questions... first car, whats your mouse pad.. stuff like that. we have one on here in fun and games. well, one of the standard q's is who you would like to have dinner with, living or dead, usually 3 peeps... for me, keith is def one of them. i just think he would be a joy to hang with. his knowledge of pop cultural history, of non-pop history and his sense of humor... i just think it would be great!

studying my booty off

You're not studying right if your booty is getting smaller. Try eating cookies and drinking eggnog while in the books. 8)
