Went out to bring my nephew home from work and saw a house with Christmas lights on. (HolyNight7 - if you go make a left onto Midway by CVS and keep going for a little bit, you can't miss it. Go check it out!) :merry:

I saw a house in our town last Tuesday or Wednesday with their lights up and on. These people always do a HUGE display each year in their yard but I guess it was a practice run because I havent seen them on again since.

Just saw my first fully decorated house yesterday. The trees and bushes were done up nicely. While I do like Christmas lights a lot, I wonder if Thanksgiving is getting a 2nd tier status. Halloween is becoming the jumping off place for Christmas and Thanksgiving is being skipped over. I know it's not being ignored as a holiday altogether, because we all celebrate it, but I bet it has lost a bit of its lustre.

I saw my first fully decorated house about a week ago! hah hah. I was like..."awesome! There's a household who likes Christmas as much as me."

Actually...come to think of it. On saturday I saw another house with C9 lights around the roof.

My husband wants to wait until any other person in our neighborhood turns their lights on before we turn ours on. Yesterday when we were putting up the lights a neighbor 2 doors down came over to talk to us and said we should just turn them on whenever we want!

I was pretty much like...OH YEAH!

C9s look awesome around the roof line, I stick with minis though

I really like the new clear multi-colored C9s that they have out.

I don't like the old sorta opaque ones.

I really wanted to do C9s this year, but there is no way I could swing it with the number of lights I plan on using. :(

on my way to class this morning i took a short cut through the college of information technology building and there's garland on the stairways, over the archways, and christmas trees up in the lobby!

Oh also, there's one of those rope light trees on top of a building that I can see from my office (here on campus) but I haven't been here late enough lately to see if they have turned it on. All I can tell is that it's green rope lights.

I saw a house decorated and lit last Friday. My daughter, neice, and I got all excited. I can't wait to see more. We always go riding around to look at all the Christmas lights. :wiggy:

I actually thought about going out driving now, hah hah. I just thought it would be neat to see how many people are "before Thanksgiving" kind of Christmas light people.
